Eco-Friendly Outdoor Fireplace Project
When it comes to outdoor fireplaces, I have some sort of double feelings about it. While the fire it makes is so cozy and warm, outdoor fireplaces that burn wood cause so much damage to our environment because of the smoke it emits.
If you simply can’t live without an outdoor fireplace, I suggest that you make an eco-friendly outdoor fireplace to relive some of the guilt you feel when lighting up a fire.
To begin your Eco-Friendly Outdoor Fireplace Project, you’ll need a container to act as a fire pit. The container can be made of metal, ceramic, or glass. Instead of using firewood, you’ll be using eco-fuel in cans. The eco-fuel cans are biodegradable and cost less than buying an eco-friendly fireplace unit. The best thing about the eco-fuel is that it is safe even for indoor use. The remaining material you will need is rocks for embellishments. You can also used recycled tumbled glass or anything that doesn’t burn.
First thing you’ll do is to arrange the eco-fuel cans together with the stones. Fill the container and disguise the cans with stones but make sure to leave its top visible for lighting. Light the eco-fuel cans and rearrange the stones when needed.
Now, you can enjoy your Eco-Friendly Outdoor Fireplace Project without damaging the environment.
